Giving in to Get Your Way!!
The art of Aikido has become increasingly popular as people search for physical and spiritual paths to inner peace while swimming in a sea of conflict. The style of Nihon Goshin Aikido originated in Japan as did all styles of Aikido and grew from the Diato-Ryu Aiki Jujitsu practiced by Samurai. While each style is unique, they all follow the same basic philosophy: Peace and inner-harmony by allowing the practitioner to balance and utilize energy.
Japanese executives consider the corporate environment to be the new battlefield and have incorporated these Samurai concepts and principles into their practice for many years. Being able to balance and use energy is a central factor in being able to prevail in psychosocial interaction or conflict. During the seminar the participants will be introduced to Aiki combat techniques that when applied interactively allow one to control and lead the outcome towards meeting their objective.
During the seminar we examine:
§ The true meaning of power and who wields it.
§ The contrast between soft and hard and the myths that equate them with weak and strong.
§ Leading versus Dragging.
§ The importance and value of honorable gamesmanship in a corporate culture.
§ The self-destructive impact of ego.
